Colliers Project Leaders is the Project Management and Commissioning Services Group of Colliers International, a global leader in commercial real estate.  Colliers Project Leaders was established in 1996 and today is composed of over 140 professionals working from multiple offices throughout the Northeast.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading our owner’s project management efforts in the Infrastructure/Horizontal Construction market by generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, overseeing and growing a team of professionals, and managing the delivery of services.


You are a leader who can launch and develop our presence in the Infrastructure market (this is for Horizontal Construction, not Information Technology), via opportunities for new relationships generally related to transportation and utility infrastructure projects.

You are accomplished in developing and aligning strategies with business priorities and developing standards and best practices for service delivery

You are adept at fostering relationships with client organizations, especially those related to new business opportunities and have the ability to represent clients in contract negotiations.

You are able to manage all facets of project management including planning, design, construction, and closeout and demonstrate the ability to read and understand complex documents affecting projects, including but not limited to, agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, surveys, and drawings;

You are skilled at creating and managing project budgets and schedules;

You manage and provide direction and leadership to your team to ensure the overall highest-level delivery, quality control, and management of projects;

You have been responsible for problem-solving, planning and organizing, and decision-making;

You are skillful in handling any escalated issues immediately and effectively and in leading major project team discussions, leading to appropriate actions and resolution;

You are a motivational and effective presenter.


  • Bachelors required, Advanced Degree preferred;
  • PE required
  • 15+ years industry (A/E/C) experience preferred in roles of increasing leadership responsibility
  • Infrastructure experience required either as the Owner or as their Representative
  • Strong market knowledge with deep relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills, planning and organizing, decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across organizational lines
  • Experience with program strategy development and oversight
  • Superior communication skills, influencing and leading, facilitation and team work capabilities. 
  • Superior presentation skills required for team meetings as well as senior level presentations
