Colliers Project Leaders is the Project Management and Commissioning Services Group of Colliers International, an international leader in commercial real estate.  Colliers Project Leaders was established in 1996 and today is made up of 140 professionals working from multiple offices throughout the Northeast.

 

In this role, you’ll join Colliers in a position responsible for providing administrative support to multiple employees in our New York City office.  We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant with proven experience who can work with our professional team.

You are super organized, have a keen eye for the details, and can manage complex projects from start to finish in a timely manner.

 

You’re good at collecting the necessary information up front, following up as needed, and delivering high quality reports.

 

You are eager to learn, a quick study, and use independent thinking skills to ensure on time delivery of professionally prepared assignments.

 

You love variety in your work where every day is different from the next. You’re the kind of person who dives right in, learning as much as you can about the industry, your tasks, and people’s various work styles. 

 

You enjoy working with local staff as well as remote staff; you are able to act as a liaison between the local staff and the company’s support staff (HR, IT, Accounting, Marketing…etc.)

What you bring:

  • A High School diploma or University degree
  • At least 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe (or Bluebeam), and Outlook skills.
  • Strong customer service skills (phone and in-person)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written (proof-reading) and verbal communication skills; Tech savvy.
  • Enthusiasm to complete projects within tight deadlines

Bonus skills and experience

  • Knowledge of the construction industry, perhaps previous experience working for an architect, engineering firm, or general contractor.
  • Contract and scope of work proofreading
